Should Pat Summitt Take over the UT Men's Team?

ESPN speculates:

This morning, via twitter, Memphis newspaper columnist Dan Wolken tweeted the following: "Serious question: If Pearl was fired or suspended for the year, is this the time to move Pat Summitt over to coach the men's team?"

It is a serious question, and it's not ridiculous. Summitt is a college basketball immortal with the force of personality to make it work. The reason it seems impossible is that UT, unlike many other universities, takes women's hoops seriously. Would the school seriously pull a stunt that would hamstring a perennial national title contender just to keep the men's team from faltering? More to the point, would Summitt even consider making the lateral move?
