Cappie Pondexter might be one of the WNBA's biggest and brightest basketball stars but off the court, she's a fashion icon in the world of sports. A Glam Slam recntly spoke with Cappie at the Blend Showroom in NYC, where she shared her passion for fashion and gave us a brief introduction to 4 Season Style Management, a NY-based image consulting firm that she co-founded with friend and celebrity stylist, Lisa Smith-Craig. You can check out that interview here.
Last night, A Glam Slam attended the 4 Season Style Management official preview party which showcased some of the hottest men's and women's fashions for the upcoming season. It also gave guests an idea of what the company has to offer. Here's the deal:
According to the press release, "4 Season Style Management is an image consulting and personal styling firm focused on helping clients dress for all aspects of their lives. WNBA Superstar Cappie Pondexter along with her business partner celebrity stylist Lisa Smith-Craig aims to simplify the lives of their clients by taking the guesswork out of fashion and dressing. Their services include styling for print, commercial, fashion shows, red carpet, special occasions and personal shopping. 4 Season Style caters to athletes, celebrities and everyday people looking to develop their style and image."
The rooftop of Chelsea's posh new Eventi Hotel was the gorgeous setting for the mixer and runway show, which featured fashions from designers including Jose Duran, Ivana Helsinki, Ben-Amun, Charles Alpert and Guillaume Hinfray, paired with WNBA All Stars Essence Carson, Kym Hampton, Kim Glass and Plenette Pierson. The event was hosted by Supermodel Jessica White and included an ultra-chic crowd and several NY Liberty ladies who came out to support their teammate.

And the evening wouldn't have been complete without Cappie showing off her great sense of style. Although is was nightfall, here is a brief glimpse of the superstar sporting a black mini and multi-chain necklace:
