January 13- 8 pm ET Oklahoma vs. Baylor
Oklahoma’s only losses came against teams ranked higher than them (they are #13), meaning either this game will be the same, or it will be their chance to change that stat when they face #9 Baylor. It may work in the Sooners favor that one of Baylor’s only two losses was to a team with a lower ranking than both Baylor and Oklahoma. This will also be the battle of the Big 12 Player of the Week vs. the Big 12 Freshman of the Week.

January 13- 8 pm ET Iowa State vs. Texas A&M;
The Aggies are on a six game winning streak and coming off a 15-point win versus Texas. They are also shooting 49% from the field, making them second in the Big 12 and third in the nation in shooting percentage. Plus, they lead the country in 3-point percentage. But last season when A&M; was ranked 4th in the country, Iowa State won the match-up 67-50.

January 16- 9 pm ET Notre Dame vs. Connecticut
In my opinion, this is the biggest game of the week. As cool as it would be to see UConn beat the current record of 70 consecutive wins, I’m just waiting for someone to knock them off. As the #3 team in the country, and currently 14-0, Notre Dame has the chance to be that someone. The game will be shown on ESPN, so make sure to tune in!

January 17- 3:30 pm ET Nebraska vs. Baylor
Brittany Griner has made headlines recently for the Baylor Bears with her two dunks in their game against Texas State. This made my immediate predicted winner for this game Baylor, but when looking at the game closer I learned something I hadn’t before realized. Nebraska is undefeated. That includes some pretty big wins against ranked LSU and Iowa State. I also discovered their roster includes All-America candidate Kelsey Griffin. Seems to me this battle of #9 vs. #11 should be a great game to watch.
