FowlesGeno.jpgTraining camp concludes Sunday for USA Basketball with a scrimmage against the Australians at Mohegan Sun Arena. But pool members like Cappie Pondexter and Sylvia Fowles (pictured right by the WNBA), who won the MVP trophy on Saturday, are already gone, facing each other in New York as the WNBA resumes the second-half of its schedule.

It was an interesting weekend, with obvious disparities between the WNBA Stars and USA Basketball teams. Of course that's good, because then the selection committee is on the right path to picking a team. But for viewers, it didn't seem like much revealing in the fun WNBA season or highlighting the league at all.
