Storm nabs more local, national television exposure

Jayda Evans covers college and pro women's basketball. While its her first year on the Washington beat, she has covered the Storm since its inception. She'll offer observations, critiques, occasional off-beat tales and answers to select e-mail inquires. Evans also has written a book on the Storm and women's hoops, called "Game On!"

The WNBA made a few television tweaks to get the hottest team on the tube more. Below are the details from the Storm's website. Seattle (21-2) faces Chicago (12-13) at 7 p.m. on Friday at KeyArena.:

The Storm's Aug. 21 game vs. Los Angeles (Fan Appreciation Night) will move from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to accommodate a national TV broadcast on ESPN2. The Storm will have two upcoming games on ESPN2, as well as two broadcast locally on KONG 6/16 - tomorrow vs. Chicago and Aug. 7 vs. Tulsa. The other ESPN2 game is Aug. 5 vs. Connecticut.
