LJ10.jpgThis should be the last time this season that we have a break in our regular action. I'm not on the road trip, the final of four games to miss to keep us within budget, so I won't be updating you about Seattle's game at Tulsa.

Storm star Lauren Jackson (pictured right by The Seattle Times) is expected to start, depending on how her sprained left hand responded Tuesday. Others are banged up from what coach Brian Agler called a "dysfunctional" loss to Minnesota on Sunday. But Agler doesn't expect to sit anyone because the 22-3 team still needs three wins (or losses from Indiana and Atlanta) to secure the overall best record in the WNBA.

Once the Storm has that, Agler hinted at resting stars while keeping an eye on getting out of the opening round of the playoffs for the first time since 2004. I'll have more when the team returns to Seattle on Wednesday.

In other news, Jackson was named Player of the Month for July by the WNBA. You can read about her behind-the-scenes experience through this remarkable season here.
