The IRB Women’s Rugby World Cup has officially commenced. All 12 teams, including Team USA, made the Surrey Sports Complex their home for the next 3 weeks on yesterday.
Friday will mark the start of pool play. In Pool A, Wales will face Australia while the reigning World Champions New Zealand take on South Africa. In Pool B, Team USA will challenge Kazakhstan and England go head to head with Ireland. Pool C will feature match ups between Canada v. Scotland and France v. Sweden.
