Signing books is just as much fun as I imagined it would be, if not more so. Especially great when you have a wonderful audience of diverse, enthused, eager participants. When a question was posed for my coach John Spehar I brought him up to the podium and he rocked!

Barnes and Noble Event Organizer Alicia Norris counted 65-70 people! I read Chapter 1 from Blows to the Head: How Boxing Changed My Mind -- people had questions about my childhood, how boxing has affected my practice of psychotherapy, what I'm working on now (promotion & blogging!)...

After lunch with some friends who let me babble on excitedly, my husband Scott and I went to see "Crazy Heart" with Jeff Bridges. It was the perfect thing to do to wind down from an amazing afternoon.
