San Antonio inks broadcast deal with FOX Sports Southwest

Women's basketball news, commentary, photos and video. The site primarily focuses on professional leagues in the United States and abroad, Division I and college signings of high school players. It also provides an archive of hoopfeed's Twitter stream (http:/twitter.com/hoopfeed) as well as a monthly summary of major story lines in women's basketball.

FOX Sports Southwest (FSSW) will carry nine Silver Stars games in 2010 beginning with the season opener against the Atlanta Dream on Saturday, May 15, at 7:00 p.m. CT at the AT&T; Center. The broadcasts will feature play-by-play announcer Andrew Monaco and color analyst Brenda VanLengen.

Following the home opener, FOX Sports Southwest will air the Silver Stars first road game, an 11:30 a.m. CT tip-off against the Tulsa Shock at the BOK Center. The next broadcast is the May 22 game against Los Angeles at the AT&T; Center; then the Silver Stars broadcasts feature the June 3 match-up at Indiana and the June 20 game at Seattle before returning home to host Minnesota on June 26.

The last Silver Stars home broadcast this season season is slated for July 20, as the Silver Stars host the Seattle Storm with tip-off set for 11:30 a.m. CT. In August, FOX Sports Southwest will broadcast San Antonio’s games at Los Angeles (Aug. 8) and at Minnesota (Aug. 15).
