Marion Jones is training for a professional basketball career in Europe according to Fanhouse.com. The former world champion track and field athlete trains in San Antonio. She helped North Carolina win the NCAA basketball championship in 1994 when she was just a freshman. She red-shirted her sophomore basketball season to concentrate on track.
She was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2003 WNBA Draft by the Phoenix Mercury.
