What a week it has been! This was my first year competing in the NPF Championships and our team (the USSSA Florida Pride) won! Such a great way to finish off the summer. I have not been home for over three months, and my husband Adam and son Caleb have been on the road with me. I thought it was going to be a lot harder than it was, but I absolutely loved it! There is truly nothing better than playing the sport you love surrounded by the people you love. So proud of my USSSA Pride teammates and coaches. What a summer! I am honestly sad softball season is over. But life on the road continues as I begin sideline reporting for ESPNU’s college football next week! From one sport to the next! This is going to be an interesting fall doing football and I am looking forward to the new challenge and experience. Just not excited about more time on the road away from my son. Maybe he will end up joining me on the sideline! If you see a one year old jet onto a field during an SEC game, you will know who it is! Hahaha =)
