Kaitlin Young vs Julie Kedzie Set For Jackson’s MMA Series

Young is a professional MMA fighter in the bantamweight division for EliteXC. She started learning martial arts when she was 14 years old. She found thai boxing in high school. She attended the University of Minnesota where she studied kinesiology. Off the bat, Young won the one-night 2007 HOOKnSHOOT Women's Grand Prix. After her loss to Gina Carano in May, 2008 (video below is pre-fight) in the second round, a ringside physician declared her unable to continue fighting. She came back in December of 2009. Her record (2011) is 4-5.
