Alissa Johnson: Wintersports
Johnson is a professional ski jumper who took home silver at the 2011 USA National Championships.

17-year-old ski jumper dies, cause uncertain
Johnson started ski jumping at the age of 5. She placed 4th in the Pohla at the 2006 Continental Cup, followed by a 7th place overall finish in 2007. In 2008 she took home 3rd in the Liberec and first in the Lillehammer at the the Continental Cup that same year. In 2009 she placed 4th in the Noteodden at the CoC. In 2011 she placed second at the USA National Ski Jumping Championships. Her longest jump was 128m.
