Sanya Richards Ross talks about Olympic Day

Richards-Ross is a Jamaican born track and field athlete who competes internationally for the USA. In 2005, Richards won a silver medal in the 400 metres at World Championships. Richards-Ross is a two time gold metal Olympic winner (4X400's) and won a bronze metal in the open 400m at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. In 2009, she won a gold metal in the 400m at the World Championships. Her win in the 400m with a time of 49.46s at the Golden Gala in Rome broke Marita Koch's record for most sub-50 second runs, bringing Richards' career total of 36. Since breaking the record, Richards-Ross has gone under the 50s mark a few more times, now totally 40 over the span of her career...and we're still counting.
