Marloes "Rumina" Coenen of the Netherlands is the reigning Welterweight (135 lbs) World Champion for Strikeforce. She first earned the title in October 2010 when she beat Sarah Kaufman by armbar submission in the third round.
Coenen defended her title for the first time in March 2011, against Liz Carmouche, submitting her opponent with a triangle choke in the fourth round after being dominated for much of the earlier rounds.
