Kedzie is a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is a professional MMA fighter. She established herself as an MMA fighter in 2005, when she won the one-night HOOKnSHOOT Women's Grand Prix in Indiana, which she repeated in 2006. In 2007 she fought undefeated Gina Carano, which was televised on Showtime. Although she lost, the fight received the Fight of the Night honor. In 2011 she was ranked nineth in the 135lb category.
