Vlasic is a several-time indoor and outdoor World Champion in the high jump. She is the Croatian high jump record holder and represented her country in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. In 2010 she was awarded with IAAF World Athlete of the Year award. She also recieved two European Athlete of the Year Trophy, in 2007 and 2010.
