"On Monday, October 11, 2010 thousands of women will take to the

streets of Boston to participate in the 34th Running of Tufts Health Plan

10K for Women. Over the years, we have often been told that this is a race

like no other. Not only does it inspire women of all ages and fitness levels to

step up to the start line and achieve their health and fitness goals, but also

the camaraderie you feel from over 7,000 fellow runners simply empowers you

to achieve those goals. That is why we have embraced the phrase start strong

- finish stronger. We feel this captures the true essence of the race. We hope

you will join us on Columbus Day. Step up to the line – become empowered –

feel the triumph of the Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women."

The event will take place in the Boston Common Parade Grounds with a 12pm start. Event are set to take place before and after the race. Check out what's in store!

One of the big events before and after the race is the Health & Fitness Pavilion. Check it out!

This event will be live steamed on Runnerspace.com

This event supports the American Heart Association. Learn more about how Tufts 10k gives back!

When you were a kid did you know what you wanted to do when you grew up? Yeah, we pretty much all did. We either wanted to be a fire fighter, a doctor, a nurse, or policeperson. It was as simple as that because our idea of the world was so small. We didn'...more
