Miesha Tate vs Ronda Rousey:
Strikeforce Bantamweight (135 lb) Champion Miesha Tate (12-2) will defend her title against Ronda Rousey (4-0), who has previously fought in the 145-lb division. This will be Rousey's first fight at 135 pounds.
Both Rousey and Tate are highly accomplished athletes outside of MMA as well - Rousey won a bronze medal in judo at the 2008 Olympics, and Tate has won a silver medal in the FILA Grappling Championships.
Sarah Kaufman vs Alexis Davis 2:
Former Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight (135 lb) Champion Sarah Kaufman will face fellow Canadian Alexis Davis in a rematch of their 2007 bout, in which Kaufman TKO'd the debuting Davis in the third round.
The fight between Kaufman and Davis is expected to serve as a number one contender’s bout, with the winner going on to face the victor of the title fight between Tate and Rousey the same night.
