The V Women's Baseball World Cup started in 2004. This year, eight teams have committed including Japan, Australia, USA, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Venezuela, the Netherlands and Cuba. This year, the Cup will be held at Telus Field in Edmonton, Canada.
