On Saturday, Aug. 31, Western New York Flash will host Christine Sinclair, Rachel Buehler and the Portland Thorns FC at Sahlen’s Stadium in an 8 p.m. ET battle for the inaugural National Women’s Soccer League championship.

The Flash, who won the NWSL Shield, shutout Sky Blue FC on Saturday night after Carli Lloyd posted a brace in the 2-0 win. The Thorns advanced after erasing a 2-0 deficit at FC Kansas City, with Allie Long scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to lift Portland 3-2 over the Blues.

Fans can purchase tickets online at wnyflash.com, in person at the Sahlen’s Stadium box office or by phone at (585) 454-KICK. Tickets will also be available through Ticketmaster.

The game will be shown live at 8pm ET on FoxSports2.
