VERSUS will be showing the Championships LIVE on Monday, November 23rd.A live web stream of the championships will also be available on NCAA.com. The men’s race will start at approximately noon Eastern, with the women’s race to follow. The 2009 championships will be hosted by Indiana State University for the sixth-straight year in Terre Haute, Indiana.

"I didn't feel so good about halfway into it. Every time I tried to push it I had to stop. I don't know, anyone that's in this position can never explain what happened."

- Overwhelming favorite Jenny Barringer of Colorado in a post-race interview. Barringer was neck in neck with FL State's Susan Kujiken but then wobbled, slowed, and eventually collapsed. She got up to keep going, collapsed a couple more times, but then seemed to recover, finishing the race with a kick in the back half of the pack, as her team was fighting for team place as well.
