Tanya will be reporting at the draft for WTS as a project for Girls Inc. Tanya will be interviewing key people at the Draft from the WNBA, ESPN, and athletes.

"My name is Tanya and I'm a 15 year old from Brooklyn, NY.  I grew up around females mostly since my father is the only male in the family.  I have one sibling, my sister Kathie.  I have always been taught to do whatever I believe I can do and want to achieve by my father.  Since I was the athletic girl in the family he encouraged me to play sports which started my love for sports.  I currently play flag football and basketball.  I encourage girls to play sports because they are fun and to have new experiences.  It is important for girls to do what guys say is not possible for a girl to do.  I am a member of Girls Incorporated of New York City at the Urban Assembly Institute of Math and Science for Young Women, an all-girls public school focusing on math & science.  I have hopes of becoming an OB/GYN."
