Hey Everyone,

The past few weeks have been hectic with training and the Holidays…. I mean training is really kicking my but right now, I have never trained so hard.  Every workout is tough and then the fact that I am struggling with my asthma doesn’t help!!  There have been days where I wanted to cry because at times it seems like I am not improving, whether it was because I am not hitting the times or my body is hurting so badly that I can not train at my best.  I HATE HATE HATE not hitting my times and/or not training at my best, so this fall has been T-U-F-F!!  It is a season where being mentally tough is a must, and understanding that I will get better as time goes.  I have been training on my own outside of practice doing drills and things to help close the gap and become better at what we are doing out there.  In fact the extra work is slowly paying off.  My times and technique is improving :-) in one area I can confidently say…  So that is one thing I am happy about!!  But this week I have identified another area that needs some work!!! Now there is a new area I will be focusing on, on my “off” days and extra training session.  All I can say is I’m keeping my head down and steadily pushing forward.  I know my hard work will pay off in the END…  SO FOR NOW I’M TRYING TO BE POSITIVE AND PATIENT UNTIL MY TIME COMES!!!

xoxo MacKenzie
