Natasha Hastings attends ESPN the Magazine’s 3rd annual Body Issue party at Highline Stages on October 6, 2011 in New York City. Natasha, the only Track & Field star to grace the pages this year was honored to represent her sport among other athletes like Soccer Star Hope Solo, which was featured on one of the Covers.

“A lot of the reason I did the magazine was because we’re told to look a certain way. Some responses to the magazine have been that the women are ‘too muscular’ and ‘not sexy.’ I don’t care what anyone says, all the women in the magazine — as muscular as they were — were still feminine and sexy. To me, you don’t have to look one certain way to fit in or be attractive. It’s about being who you are and embracing who you are. I might be a muscular athlete, but I’m still a woman and I’m still beautiful. That was what I wanted to show to younger girls”, she told to CelebBuzz.com
