Hey everyone……I am back!! Hope you all are doing well and will continue to root for me as the Olympic Trials and Games near.

Things are looking better each week. I must say that I have gotten my confidence back. Many times we wear a fake face to present ourselves as if all is well. Well I have decided to let you all in on a little secret...I have been wearing a mask!

By this I mean I was struggling mentally, and I had to break myself of this and realize that things will get better. Yes you know I am human too…..and as a top ranked athlete in the past, 2 x gold medalist and a former shoe company-sponsored athlete, you want to be what you were in the past.

I have grown this past month and I can say that obstacles are put in your way for a reason. I am putting in the work and am confident that I will make the 2012 Team. Patience……patience.

If I am not my number one fan, and if I don’t believe in myself 100 percent, then it doesn’t make sense to work at it. Who would I be fooling?

So my advice for you all this week is to do your best and push forward even through rough times. Things that occur will only make you stronger, and in the end you will come out on top!

On another note….as I am training I have become attached to my foam roller…I take her everywhere, she helps me when I am sore, when I am in pain and I have to admit it I love her. Oh my gosh…please don’t tell my husband but ….I am in love with my foam roller. So until later folks byeeeeee……muahhhhh!!!
