Justine Dufour-Lapointe roars to the Canadian Dual Moguls Championship

Justine Dufour-Lapointe, only 17 years old, defeated her older sister Maxime in the quarter-finals, Beatrice Bilodeau in the semifinals, and her other older sister Chloe in the finals of the Canadian Dual Moguls Championships, sponsored by Canada Post. It was the first time this year that the youngest Dufour-Lapointe faced either of her sisters in competition.

In an interview with First Tracks Online, Dufour-Lapointe was quoted as saying that "It was emotional to ski against my sisters, but I tried to stay focused and not to think about it too much."

The youngest Dufour-Lapointe takes a very aggressive approach on the hill. Her tactices include a habit of roaring at the starting gates as an attempt to intimidate her opponents and fire up the crowd. It is great to see a young athlete with such fire in her belly.

The victory capped off a great year for Dufour-Lapointe who was also named the FIS Rookie of the year for the season. To learn more about Justine, check out her unique You Tube video below:
