The National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators (NACWAA) empowers, develops, assists, celebrates, affirms, involves and honors women in the field and takes a pro-active role in advancing them into positions of influence. NACWAA.org was built to inform,connect and inspire women in college athletics.

Meg Stevens was named director of athletics at Averett University (Danville, Va.) on July 23. Stevens, formerly the assistant director of athletics, senior woman administrator and head coach for women's lacrosse at Buffalo State, will step into her new role in mid-August. Read more

Kate Hagenbuch has been hired at Michigan Technological University as director of NCAA compliance and student-athlete services. She previously worked at Finlandia University, where she served as academic-athletic coordinator, student-athlete advisory council advisor and men’s and women’s cross country coach. Read more

Sharon Beverly, director of athletics and physical education at Vassar College, has been elected as President of the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA). Stan Johnson, president of Stan Johnson & Associates, and Darlene Gordon, director of championships and business operations/SWA at the Patriot League were selected to serve as officers of MOAA, while Vicky Chun, director of athletics at Colgate University was selected to represent the Association. Western Oregon University Athletic Director Barbara Dearing recently appeared in a Polk County Itemizer-Observer article about her journey to the top spot in Western Oregon's athletic department. Read more

Jennifer Smith was promoted to associate director of academic and membership affairs at the NCAA. She was previously assistant director of academic and membership affairs.

D'Ann Keller has been hired as assistant athletics director for administration at Saint Louis University. She was formerly associate director of championships at the NCAA.

Penn State Altoona Director of Athletics Fredina Ingold has been honored as the Eastern College Athletic Conference Jostens’ Female Administrator of the Year award. Read more

Jackson State Athletic Director Vivian Fuller was recently featured in the Natchez Democrat, speaking about the athletic department's recent progresses and future goals. Read more
