Heather Benning is the new executive director of the Midwest Conference. She was formerly the assistant athletic director/SWA/associate professor of physical education/head women's soccer coach/Title IX coordinator for athletics at Grinnell College. Benning is a 2003 graduate of the NACWAA Administrative Advancement Institute, completed the NACWAA Leadership Enhancement Institute in 2008, and graduated from the NCAA Pathway program in January of this year. Michelle Boone has accepted the position of senior sports director for the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania. "This is a step up the ladder in my career, as I will be responsible for strategic planning and big picture thinking/visions." Boone said. She was formerly associate commissioner, Michelle Boone, will be leaving the Northeast Conference
NACWAA Board of Directors member Dr. M. Grace Calhoun, has been named director of recreation and intercollegiate athletics at the University of Pennsylvania, effective July 1. Read the story and watch her interview here
Shana Levine, has been named director of physical education and athletics at Lewis & Clark effective July 1. Levine previously served as associate athletic director at Washington and Lee University in Virginia. Read more
