Dr. Sharon Beverly, assistant vice president for student affairs and executive director of athletics and recreation at The College of New Jersey, was one of 30 leading women in higher education to be honored by Diverse: Issues In Higher Education Magazine. Beverly is a graduate of the 2003 Institute for Administrative Advancement (East) and the 2006 Executive Institute. Read the article here

Kelly Fahey was promoted to the assistant athletic director, fundraising and development at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). Fahey was formerly the assistant athletic director/student-athlete affairs at UMBC. Fahey is also a 2013 graduate of the Institute for Administrative Advancement (East).

The University of Hartford director of athletics, Pat Meiser, was selected as the recipient of the DI-AAA 2014 Gary Cunningham Lifetime Achievement Award. "It is especially heartwarming to be honored by your peers across the country and it is particularly gratifying to be the first female recipient of such a prestigious honor," said Meiser. Read more here

Kim Record University of North Carolina at Greensboro director of athletics is credited with a fundraising increase for the Spartans over 50% in the last five years, men's basketball attendance has nearly tripled since the program started playing in the Greensboro Coliseum. Read the article here
