Registration is now open for the 2011 NCAA Black Coaches & Administrators Achieving Coaching Excellence Program (ACE), which provides professional development opportunities for current NCAA collegiate men’s and women’s basketball coaches. The 2011 ACE Program will take place June 5-8 in Indianapolis. Travel and lodging will be covered by the NCAA for all selected participants.

The ACE Program is committed to preparing racial and ethnic minority collegiate basketball coaches for success as future head basketball coaches. It provides participants an opportunity to engage and interact with current head basketball coaches, directors of athletics and leaders in intercollegiate athletics. Selected participants will receive training and education in the areas of leadership, communication, campus relations, media, community involvement and program management.

The ACE Program is administered by the NCAA Student-Athlete Affairs department in partnership with the Black Coaches & Administrators (BCA), and supported by the NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics (CWA) and NCAA Minority Opportunities and Interest Committee (MOIC). Learn more and register here.
