Megan Reitenour earns a top ten in the Outlaw Super Late Model Series finishing 9th out of 55 competitors and secures Rookie of the Year Honors at M-40 Speedway in Jones, MI. This being nothing extraordinary for Reitenour considering she has secured Rookie of The Year Honors in all but one of the series throughout her career that she has competed in.
Reitenour's season unfortunately ended prematurely due to an accident she suffered while leading the race. Reitenour was not injured in the crash but significant damage was caused to her race car which ultimately lead to the end of her season.
Reitenour said, "I've been fortunate throughout my career this far in having some great people work with me and for me. I think that reflects a lot on many of the successes we have had thus far. I would have liked to been able to finish the entire season at M-40 Speedway to see where we ended up in the points but I learned a lot and got some great experience. I would like to thank the owner of the track, Kevin Koscher and my sponsor Logistics By Bontreger for the opportunity I was given. I'm also extremely excited for the 2013 season ahead of us."
Now with the CRA in full-swing Megan needs real support from sponosors to continue in her success. There will be television coverage on the CRA Series a great advantage for anyone to see Megan race.
