SPONSORSHIPS / ENDORSEMENTS/ INVESTING what is the difference and how Heraea Marketing is making a difference.
Sponsorships ~ This has been an all time favorite for the past several decades. A company drops a lot of money on an athlete and in return many fans will see their product and hopefully purchase that item the athlete showcases, from apparel to watches to sunglasses, the list is endless. But is the actual return on the sponsorship investment worth it?
Endorsements ~ Another favorite, but I'm inclined to believe a little more productive when spending money. A company uses an athlete to do commercials for their products, they have them speak at conventions, events, about how that company's product helped them and the list goes on. But what is the return on this type of endorsement for the company?
Investing ~ I like to think of this as more than putting your money on an athlete; it's putting your money on an athlete as a partner. You receive an actual return ($) on your investment. This isn't a new concept, it's just as old as the other two mentioned but less used because of many factors. 1) Can the athlete perform to win? 2) What exactly in $$ will we get back. 3) Not sure of this one yet, but we'll figure it out. At Heraea Marketing we like to find partners for our athletes, the less an athlete has to worry about the all mighty dollar, the more she can concentrate on her gift, and the more she can focus on winning.
When our athletes win so do their partners. Oh and wait, there is a return on your investment, and there is the added value of what a sponsor and/or endorser usually asks for.
