The WCWS has two amazing programs fighting for the ultimate prize and pride for their respective colleges. Alabama Crimson Tide has never won the college world series but has had several appearances behind coach Pat Murphy. They are going against a tough Oklahoma Sooner team in which the program has only won the WCWS one time in school history back in 2000.

What an exciting tournament! The teams are playing a best of 3 series to decide the champion. Oklahoma won the first game last night with a 4-1 win. Alabama is sure to come back firing this evening with only 3 losses in the season. The Tide have not lost to any team this year more than once, thanks in part to their dominating pitcher Jackie Traina. Will this stat hold true?

Oklahoma's standout Sophomore pitcher Kellani Ricketts. She is 37-7 this season and pitches on average 70 mph! If that wasn't impressive enough she throws her change up twenty miles slower. She had 12 strikeouts in her 21 batters faced last night. What an amazing game and spectacle for softball infront of a sold out complex in OKC. Check it out on ESPN2 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
