Sue Bird Becomes First WNBA Player With 4000 Points, 1500 Assists In 63-55 Seattle Storm Win
Jessica Lantz seems to be under the impression that I talk about Seattle Storm point guard Sue BIrd a lot. So I'll just give the facts here: in notching her 4000th point tonight in the Storm's 63-55 win against the San Antonio Silver Stars, Bird became the first player in WNBA history to have 4000 points and 1500 assists.
Feel free to call her a "point guard", "combo guard", "cold-blooded late game assassin", or just a really good basketball player - she's been better than most other people at what she does.
