In keeping with SB Nation’s innovative use of social media in reshaping sports journalism, our vision is a women's basketball site that goes beyond merely providing game reports; instead, we want to capture the narratives that fuel our passion for the game, while maintaining the critical stance that helps us understand the game better.

Who? The Cornhuskers of Nebraska.
What? Initially, Cornhuskers referred to Nebraska beating Iowa- and Iowa was the team being referred to as Cornhuskers. Herbie Husker recently ditched his overalls.
Where? Lincoln, Nebraska, named after Abraham Lincoln as a power play.
When? March 18th, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
How? They were an at-large selection.
Surprise? The strength of schedule isn't great, but that's the Big Ten for you.
RPI: 32
SOS: 51
Record: 24-8 (10-6 Big Ten)
Good wins: At Penn State, at Purdue
Bad losses: Northwestern, or possibly at Minnesota. They're both ugly for a tournament team.
Who's running this show? Connie Yori, since 2002. Recovering from offseason knee surgery.
Extra, Extra! The Journal-Star.
With a surname like Hooper, sophomore Jordan Hooper should be expected to be good- but she's more than good, she's a star. Averaging 19.2 points and 9.3 rebounds, she's half of what makes Nebraska able to rise up and knock off big teams, with a good mix of inside and outside games. The other half is junior Lindsey Moore, one of the top point guards in the country, dishing out more than five assists per game and adding 15. 8 points per game. Freshman forward Emily Cady stepped up as a third option in the conference season, going from 7.5 points to 12.3; if Nebraska can have her as an option when Hooper or Moore are covered, they could go a long way.
