Chamique Holdsclaw in custody for aggravated assault

Former Tennessee Lady Vols and WNBA star Chamique Holdsclaw is in police custody for a dispute-turned-violent with ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lacy.

Former basketball star, Chamique Holdsclaw is wanted by police in which a dispute turned violent. As reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Holdsclaw allegedly got into a heated argument with ex-girlfriend -- Jennifer Lacy.

Lacy who also resides in Atlanta states in her incident report that she was driving to a friend's house when Holdsclaw got out of her car and starting smashing Lacy's car windows with a baseball bat. Also it was reported that Holdsclaw produced a gun in which she shot inside Lacy's vehicle.

There was a 9mm shell casing that was found on the scene of the incident, that occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

A warrant has been issued for Holdclaw's arrest; the warrant is for aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and reckless conduct.

Holdsclaw recently released a book entitled, "Breaking Through: Beating the Odds Shot after Shot." It gives a synopsis of her life from being a basketball star to her battles with depression.

Holdsclaw tweeted this out on Tuesday evening at 10:23 p.m.:
