After Saturday's win against the Georgetown Hoyas, the California Golden Bears have moved up a spot to #10 in the AP Top 25 ranking.

The Bears switched spots with the Maryland Terrapins, which sets up an even more intriguing matchup against the Duke Blue Devils on the road this coming Sunday - a strong showing in Durham, NC will be a good barometer for Cal relative to Maryland as the season goes on and Maryland faces Duke in conference play, assuming the rankings remain somewhat stable.

After the loss to Cal and a scare on Friday against Cal State - Fullerton that came down to the final possession, the Hoyas are no longer receiving votes in the AP poll.
