In keeping with SB Nation’s innovative use of social media in reshaping sports journalism, our vision is a women's basketball site that goes beyond merely providing game reports; instead, we want to capture the narratives that fuel our passion for the game, while maintaining the critical stance that helps us understand the game better.

According to Roc Nation's website, Diggins is only one of two athletes to be represented, the other being New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano.
It is known that Jay-Z, who currently is a minority owner in the Brooklyn Nets is interested in becoming an NBA sports agent, however, NBA rules prohibit him from doing so until he sells his stake in the team which he is now in the process of doing.
With Diggins joining the group, even though she isn't an NBA player, her already high profile presence within women's basketball certainly makes a very sound addition to Roc Nation Sports. Also, considering that Jay-Z is popular with many young people, including players, this may give Roc Nation some advantage in getting players, including higher profile ones, especially if and when the group is allowed to represent NBA players. The group is also trying to make an impact in ice hockey, with presumptive top 2013 NHL Draft Pick Seth Jones as a possible target. Jones just happens to be the son of former NBA player and Nets assistant coach Popeye Jones.
With Diggins now on the Roc Nation team, will this encourage more players to join, including stars? Will it alter the player agent representation in the league? James made an article last December detailing the agencies that currently have the most representation in the WNBA for now.
