In keeping with SB Nation’s innovative use of social media in reshaping sports journalism, our vision is a women's basketball site that goes beyond merely providing game reports; instead, we want to capture the narratives that fuel our passion for the game, while maintaining the critical stance that helps us understand the game better.

Listen to our interviews with Doug Feinberg of the AP and Tulsa Shock Head Coach Fred Williams.
Welcome to our second podcast! Today's show will feature two guests.
First, Doug Feinberg of the AP checks back with us again where we recap the 2014 WNBA Draft this past Monday, as well as the two major trades of the night. The first trade was a blockbuster, where the Connecticut Sun traded Tina Charles from Connecticut to New York in exchange for Kelsey Bone; Alyssa Thomas, the fourth pick in the 2014 Draft; and their first round pick of the 2015 Draft. The other trade wasn't a blockbuster, but still significant nonetheless when the Washington Mystics traded Crystal Langhorne to the Seattle Storm for Bria Hartley, the seventh pick in the 2014 Draft, and Tianna Hawkins.
Next, we have Fred Williams, Head Coach of the Tulsa Shock. During our interview with him, he gave us his vision and goals for this season, and how rookie guard Odyssey Sims would fit in with Skylar Diggins and Riquna Williams.
One topic that I wish we would have talked with Williams about more was on the status of Australian center Elizabeth Cambage, who didn't come up in the interview. Her status is uncertain per the Tulsa World, and also per an interview he had with Hoopfeed, so we'll see what happens with her status as we get closer to training camp.
Thanks again, and we hope you enjoy the show!
