The head coaches from the East and West have been decided.

On Monday, the WNBA announced that Atlanta Dream head coach Michael Cooper and Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve.

Based on WNBA rules, the head coach of the conference champion gets to be the All-Star team's head coach the following season, if he or she still has that position with the same team. So Fred Williams, the Atlanta Dream head coach for the 2013 season would have been the head coach of the Eastern Conference All-Star team if he remained in ATL. He has since moved on to the Tulsa Shock.

If the previous conference champion's head coach is no longer there, then the head coach of the winningest team in the conference gets to coach the team. By coincidence, the Atlanta Dream's head coach for the 2014 season (Cooper) gets to coach, given their 11-4 record.

The All-Star Game will be held in Phoenix on Saturday, July 19.
