WNBA Approves Instant Replay Changes and Rule Clarification

Per the WSJ:

"Under the changes adopted Wednesday, referees now can use instant replay during the final minute of regulation and throughout overtime to determine whether a ball hit the rim and consequently if the shot clock should be adjusted.

Under the same time stipulations, it also can be used for out of bounds calls and if the shot or game clock should be changed in those cases.

Instant replay also can be used throughout the game now to determine which player should go to the line after a foul.

Besides the replay changes, the board of governors also adopted a rule modification for the aftermath of a team whistled for too many players on the court."
