Joe says:

What does a female athlete look like? ANSWER:

When it comes to any athlete, I don’t believe you can really tell unless you know the person personally and you know the person is an athlete, or you saw that person perform in an athletic event. Just because a person is a certain size or shape, that does not mean the person is an athlete. Our society has many stereo-types and “what an athlete looks like” is just one of them.

On another subject:

If the University of Tennessee’s women’s basketball coach Pat Summit’s illness (dementia) get worse, which one of the three assistant coaches or who do you think will take over as head women’s basketball coach.

And my last another subject:

The WNBA has been around for 15 years now. The Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA has Lisa Leslie as a part owner. The only team with a former player as part owner. The Sparks are in next to last place and probable won’t make the playoffs. The Sparks have three older players in T. Thompson, D. Milton-Jones, and Ticha Penichero. They are 35 years or older.

In light of all the other teams in the WNBA getting younger and winning more, do you believe as I do the three above listed ladies have had their day and now it is time for a new generation of players to take over? It just seems to me that some of the older players in the WNBA are not recognizing that “Mother time is calling and is upon them.”

Sometimes athletes hang around too long. Do you think Lisa Leslie and other Sparks owners will have the heart/will power to cut/waive the older players and bring in a new younger generation of stronger, faster, and more athletic players. Virtually all the other teams in the WNBA has went young. In the NFL (National Football League), when a running back is 30 years or older, the team start looking around to replace him. I guess that is just the nature of sport. We are all going to get old one day.

WHAT DO YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS THINK..................ASK AROUND, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN. PLEASE RESPOND THANKS FROM A SPORTS FAN.

Thank YOU, Joe! So, sports fans...what are your thoughts?
