Sunday afternoon, MarQ Piocos and l will host the weekly Women Talk Sports Radio Show at 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific.

US WNT vs Italy

Lots to talk about this week, so Show #6 will be a full one! Our main topic of discussion will be about women's soccer in the United States - first, with regards to qualifying for the 2011 World Cup, as the home-home series between the US WNT and Italy will sandwich Sunday's show. The series will determine who goes on to the World Cup. The US team was upset by Mexico in the CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament just over a week ago, and now they must dig themselves out and get that ticket to Germany. Then we will discuss the recent struggles of the Women's Professional Soccer league and their outlook going into 2011.
