Pro surfer Coco Ho unexpectedly qualified for the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Tour in 2009 and suddenly realized that what she grew up doing - surfing with her dad and brother - could turn into a career. She finished 4th on the tour and has continued to impress ever since. Most recently she claimed victory at the Legendary Pacific Coast Pro competition.

At the launch party for Gatorade's GSeries FIT line, for which Coco is an athlete ambassador, I talked to her about what it's like to be a professional surfer, her work with the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii, why fellow surfer Steph Gilmore is her role model and also why she loves Beyonce and is converting her friends to Beyonce fandom one at a time :)
