Brief chat with Olympian and Trailblazer, Misty May-Treanor

I love the Olympics. The Games are inspiring and thrilling. Everyone can find a piece of the Olympics that they enjoy. One can follow their favorite athletes on their journey to the gold. One can also watch sports that they equally enjoy but rarely get to see. The Olympics is where the best and most talented athletes put all their hard work on the line. It is where they have to mix the physical and the emotional for that perfect combination that will lead them to the top of the podium. #Awesome.

I recently got to speak with a woman athlete who has found that perfect mix a few times. Her name is Misty May-Treanor.  She is a Women Talk Sports (.com) Trailblazer, which means she is a huge deal! She has two Olympic gold medals, had the highest number of career wins for a woman, plus tax. Besides being awesome on the court, she is a awesome person in real life. Her sense of humor and relaxed attitude was evident in the few minutes we spoke.
