UNSTOPPABLE: Iraq War Vet Turns Obstacles into Opportunities & Victims to Victors
Female Marine Corps Intel Officer Reveals the Mindset Secrets to Catapult from “Survival to Thrival”…and Announces Book Launch
San Diego, CA - Saturday December 1st, 2012 - JUST ROLL WITH IT BOOTCAMP - Before reading the next get-happy-now book or trying the latest fad health plan or diet, attend this unique and outrageously inspirational one-day bootcamp which will equip you with the tools to start living happier, healthier, and more successful that very day. The corresponding Just Roll with It: Stop Comparing, Competing, and Self-Defeating book will also be released at the event, granting event attendees first access to what Kristine Carlson, co-author of the NYTimes best-selling Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff series, says “is a must read because Sarah will inspire and dare you to absolutely transform every area of your life from good to great, change what you can, and then let go enough to live life resiliently and magically.”
The Bootcamp is:
A fusion of health&wellness and personal growth
Inspiration and instruction that leads to TRANSFORMATION
A unique, lively, motivational, and movement-oriented program
A bridge between personal and professional development — covering issues related to relationships, fitness, recovery, and nutrition
The bootcamp explores the effects of stress, trauma, and grief on your mind, body, and spirit. Americans are overworked, overstressed, and unhealthy; soldiers are returning from war or leaving the service and then committing suicide at rates higher than combat deaths; and over 50% of our population is overmedicating for pain&depression. Thus, it is imperative to learn simple, healthy alternatives to improve our health, energy, and vitality. Participants will gain a greater understanding of how to make realistic yet unique changes that will reduce the stress, suffering, or depression in their lives. There are so many resources for health beyond the typical medication, old-school therapy, or unhealthy and destructive outlets. This Bootcamp will show people that once someone regains their sense of intuition about their own health and happiness, they will be empowered to discover their path to true success. Sarah emphasizes that you must be healthy in order to heal, and so the event is filled not only with inspiration but also with practical instruction to support attendees as they move forward in their life.
About Sarah: Sarah Plummer, former Marine Corps Intel Officer, certified Yoga Instructor, five-time U.S. Military Olympian, Holistic Health Coach, and keynote speaker is leading the JRWI bootcamp. Having been struck by lightning, hit by a car, battled PTSD, and survived Military Sexual Trauma, she can empathize with those who feel “stuck.” She lives in Denver and has a private practice, coaching clients on how to reach their goals for stress reduction, health, happiness, and successful trauma recovery. Additionally, she presents workshops on healthy and balanced lifestyle, overcoming obstacles, teamwork, success, and leadership. As Sarah says, “Some say courage isn’t the absence of fear, but action despite that fear. Living a full, happy life after trauma is sort of like that. To me, choosing to live out of love instead of fear or anger is not due to an absence of trauma, but in spite of it.”
