October 4, 2012-The U.S. Women's National team has added two games to their proposed ten game victory tour. The squad will take on Ireland on November 28 in Portland, OR and also on December 1 in Glendale, AZ.

The gold medal team is in the middle of a national tour that has already taken them to Rochester, L.A. and Denver. The U.S. has yet to drop a game in the first three matches beating Costa Rica 8-0 and then Australia 2-1 and 6-2. Next up for them is Germany on October 20 in Chicago and then October 23 in East Hartford, Connecticut.

Germany will be the first real test for the U.S. as they are ranked 2nd in the FIFA World rankings behind only the Americans. Ireland is currently ranked 34th and has never won a game against the United States.

Huge crowds have greeted the victory tour so far and that is expected to continue especially in Portland where there is a huge soccer fan base. No word yet if the games will be broadcast on national television like the first three games. The last three games and locations of the tour are also still being decided.

U.S. Soccer is still conducting their search for a new coach for the national team. Pia Sundhage who led the team to their third consecutive gold medal this past summer in London stepped down just a few weeks ago to take over the reigns of the Swedish national team. U.S. Soccer has not set a timetable in which a new coach will be in place and there is a good possibility that assistant coaches will lead the matches in October against Germany.
