December 5, 2012-The highly successful fan tribute tour featuring the U.S. women’s national soccer team will wrap up at the end of next week. The team is coming off a third consecutive gold medal at the Olympics this past summer in London, which led to the team then embarking on a ten city victory tour as a tribute to their loyal fans.

The Americans have yet to drop a game during this exhibition, which has featured games against Costa Rica, Australia, Germany and the Republic of Ireland. Their biggest challenge came in their two game-set with Germany that resulted in a draw both games.

Next up for the Americans is China PR as the teams will square off three times within a weeks span.  Their first meeting will take place December 8th at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich. The game will be at 1:30pm ET though no national broadcast has been announced for this game.

The next two games however will be televised. Soccer fans can turn into the December 12th match on FOX Soccer at 7:30pm CT and then see the last game of the fan tribute tour on December 15th on NBC Sports Network at 7pm ET. The match against China PR on the 12th  will be played at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, TX. BBVA Compass Stadium is a brand new stadium that opened last spring and is home to the MLS team the Houston Dynamo. The last game of the tour will be played in Boca Raton, FL at FAU Stadium.

The three game set will be coached by interim coach Jill Ellis who has been in charge of the team since Pia Sundhage stepped down in September to take over the reigns of the Swedish national team.  Tom Sermanni however will be a visible presence at the final three games before stepping into his official role as head coach of the national team in January.

The U.S. team faced their Chinese counterparts earlier this year in May in a warm-up to the Olympic games. The Americans won that game 4-1 though the 19th ranked team should prove to be more of a challenge for the Americans than their recent match-up against Ireland.
