Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative is searching for graduating student-athletes who are positive change makers!
This 9-month season of service provides a meaningful path for graduating female athletes to pay it forward by serving children in underserved communities. The athlete will serve as a member of a BAWSI Athlete Leadership Team and will provide leadership of the BAWSI Girls, BAWSI Rollers, and Upward Roots programs. A unique aspect of this BAWSI opportunity is the inclusion of dedicated time to explore two of the major questions of life: “Who am I? What is my work in the world?” If you are interested in authentic service and gaining an empowered sense of your impact as a change maker in the world, then BAWSI wants YOU! The position pays a modest hourly salary and begins in August 2013.
